Staged in St Vincent and the Grenadines from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2011, the Organisation for Eastern Caribbean States Table Tennis Tournament saw Grenada, St Lucia and the host nation emerge as the most successful countries after three days of competition.
The Inter Primary Schools Athletics Championships 2011 were held at the Arnos Vale Playing field April 20 - 27, 2011

The Vincentian trio had been drawn in three separate groups for the individual men round of the competition;
in group 6 Kamal Hunte was matched with Alberto Mino of Ecuador, and Brian Afanador of Puerto Rico. In his first match up that took place Thursday 26th May at 5:30pm mexico time Hunte went under to Brian Afanador of Puerto Rico in the match which he lost 3 games to love; scores 4/11; 4/11; 4/11. Hunte next match would be against Alberto Mino of Ecuador at 11:00am.

It may not have been the highest level of table tennis that the world has ever seen but the dedication, the determination and the desire was as strong as in any contest.
In the group qualification stage of the Men’s team event at the ITTF-Latin American Championships in the Mexican city of Guadalajara on Monday 23rd May 2011; St Vincent and the Grenadines beat St Kitts by three matches to nil.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines had a full schedule of matches being played yesterday monday 23rd May at the CODE II facility in Guadelajara Mexico. St Vincent was drawn in a group that included Cuba, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Our first opponent was Cuba who beat us 3 games to love playing first Carlton Daniel was beaten 3 games to love when he faced Pavel Oxamendy of Cuba score 4/11; 7/11; 7/11.
X – CEL Club, which is part a Tennis Academy and an Athletics institution has been the recent beneficiary of assistance in the sport of Tennis from Dukes Meadows of London, England, which has been endorsed by former top English Tennis star, Tim Henman.
Alex Fenn, currently doing an internship at Dukes Meadows, presented 12 Tennis racquets to the X – CEL Tennis Academy for use in the Kids Tennis Programme of the institution.
Fenn, who is here on a one-month volunteer attachment to this country, has been excited by the interest shown by the children involved with X – CEL.
